Liam's Baptism

Liam was finally baptised today. It is quite scary how quickly time fly's. I could not help think of Mom and Dad Nell. Debra was kind enough to send me some info of Mom's experience in joining The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints which I shared as part of my talk. Liam's Granny Ju-Ju (Tracey's mom) also gave a really great talk about knowing what is right and doing it. The funny part was that the water in the baptismal font was too hot for us to go into it (that's a new one - normally it's too cold. I thought of Tracy's baptism and how freezing the water was :)) well Liam thought it was great once we could actually go in - we had to put quite alot of cold water in before we could do so! Afterwards as we were changing he said would'nt it be cool if this were our home and we could go swimming in the baptismal font!

We would have loved for all the Nell siblings (James, Venski, Ferreira, Ledward, Nell's, De Melo & Themelis) to have been able to be here and we were thinking of you all!)

Thanks to all who attended. Thanks to the Austin's & Von Brughan's for your trusted support.

Have a good one!!

A Week from Hell

Hello,

What a week. Our youngest, Rogan, has a taste for tonsilitis. Last year he contracted it 5 times within 8 months. We thought we were doing a good job of keeping him healthy when he got it again a week ago. Normally we have about a week of no sleep and all the stuff most parents will know about and then... MUMPS. Dealing with a tonsilitis infected toddler is childsplay compared to this!! After 2 nights of no sleep (on top of the tonsilitis episode) we finally were recommended a magic potion - ADCO's KIDDIPAYNE! He slept from about 4pm yesterday through till 8am this morning. He woke up a few times but at least he went to sleep again. We feel like new people.

We quite like the artistic ability of our children (we are biased I know) and so we added a few pieces of their artwork for your enjoyment.

Something exciting from the past few weeks. Liam now wears glasses. He has far sightedness in his left eye and so has been operating using his right eye all this time. (His left eye is really bad). We were amazed as he has quite good ball skills.

I (Andre) took a photography class on Saturday morning and has been playing around with my camera. I am figuring out where to get the amount of money to buy the camera I really wants so I can really go wild.

Michaela is Hannah Montana Mad. Drives us nuts but she's happy. She is looking forward to the holidays coming. Hopefully she does not get the mumps and spend her holiday recuperating - now that would be unfortunate!

Tracey is as patient as ever. Without her we may be less a number of children by now. Single parents - you deserve major medals!!!
